CHAIN OF RESPONSIBILTY - TLIF0002 - Funded by the NHVR
The Waste Contractors and Recyclers Association of NSW are pleased to offer theTAFE accredited training to our members.
COR is a concept in transport legislation whereby legal obligations are placed on the parties in the transport supply chain or across the transport industry. COR was developed to apply in the heavy vehicle industry to address issues of speeding, weight, mass, vehicle loading, driver fatigue and to regulate unlawful behaviour of heavy vehicle drivers who work under the directions of other parties. The aim of COR is to make sure everyone in the supply chain shares equal responsibility for ensuring breaches of road transport laws do not occur.

The Waste Contractors & Recyclers Association of NSW (WCRA) presents training workshops with the aim of improving the way waste management facilities undertake waste & resource recovery activities.Workshop content & the supporting manual include waste classification, waste avoidance and resource recovery legislation, effective resource recovery, environment and site management, relevant WHS regulations & waste management equipment.
Who should attend?
Waste management & recycling industry personnel responsible for operations, supervision, sales, procurement, compliance, resource recovery, waste educators, collections, depot activities, weighbridge, facility workers within local government, charities, social enterprise & waste management & resource recovery facilities across NSW.
ICAM LEAD INSTRUCTOR COURSE

ICAM (Incident Cause Analysis Method) is an internationally renowned, best practice systemic safety investigation analysis method. It aims to identify both local factors and failures within the broader organisation and productive system that contributed to the incident, such as communication, training, operating procedures, incompatible goals, change management, organisational culture and equipment. Through the analysis of this information, ICAM provides the ability to identify what really went wrong and to make recommendations on necessary remedial actions to reduce risk and build error-tolerant defences against future incidents. The ICAM process incorporates best practice Human Factors and Risk Management principles. ICAM is used extensively by many of Australia’s leading industrial and mining organisations and throughout the world..
